MusiCares will host the third annual “The Day That Music Cares” on April 25, a global day of service to invite everyone in the music community—including touring crews, producers, managers, artists, and fans—to give back through local acts of kindness and volunteer work.

Participants are encouraged to support their communities by volunteering at food banks, organizing donation drives, cleaning public spaces, or engaging in activities that foster connection and support.

Launched in response to the U.S. Surgeon General’s 2023 advisory on the public health crisis of loneliness, the initiative aims to combat isolation through meaningful service. Last year, over 2,500 people participated, and this year, MusiCares hopes to reach even more.

The event also aligns with Global Volunteer Month, offering a timely opportunity to highlight the power of community action.
